Jana Radičević, born in Podgorica in 1997, is a Montenegrin author. She studied German language and literature at the University of Montenegro, spent two semesters abroad in Marburg and Graz, and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in German as a foreign language philology at the University of Würzburg. Since 2015, Radičević has been an active member of the Forum of Young Writers in Montenegro, supported by the Budo Tomović Cultural and Information Center in Podgorica. Her first collection of poems, ako kažem može postati istina (“if I say it, it can become truth”), was published in 2019 by the Serbian publishing house Partizanska knjiga. Individual poems have been translated into German, English, French, Macedonian, Albanian, Russian, and Slovenian. In 2020/21 she was the youngest ever Graz city writer.
