Sandra Burkhardt, born in Laupheim in 1992, studied art history and literary writing in Karlsruhe and Leipzig. She currently lives and studies in Berlin. In 2018, her debut Wer A sagt („Who Says A“) was published, with which she was represented at the 2019 Poetry Recommendations for the Leipzig Book Fair. In the summer of 2019, she already participated in the Arab-German VERSschmuggel, translating poems by the Syrian poet Noor Kanj. Since 2020 she is a member of the Arab-German literature and translation collective Die Wiese.
