Garzetti, Sascha

Sascha Garzetti was born in Zurich in 1986 and lives in Baden (Switzerland). He studied German language and literature, history and Scandinavian literature at the University of Zurich. Today he teaches German at a high school. Garzetti writes poetry and prose. His texts have been published in magazines and anthologies. Some have also been performed on stage in collaboration with musicians. Isolated poems and poetry cycles have been translated into English, Spanish, Greek, Ukrainian and Russian. Garzetti also conducts writing workshops for young adults. He is part of the Einsames Begräbnis project, during which authors write poems for people who have died alone and recite them at their funerals.
