Daniel Falb is a poet and philosopher. He lives and works in Berlin. Falb has released four poetry collections with the publisher kookbooks, most recently Orchidee und Technofossil (2019). In addition, he works on geophilosophy, the theory of world population, and questions of poetics and art theory. After Anthropozän. Dichtung in der Gegenwartsgeologie (Verlagshaus Berlin 2015), the essay Geospekulationen. Metaphysik für die Erde im Anthropozän (Merve 2019) was published. Falb’s work has been supported by numerous scholarships and prizes; he received the Kurt Sigel-Lyrikpreis des PEN Zentrums Deutschland in 2016, and in 2021 he was the recipient of a working grant for literature from the Berlin Senate.
