Viviane de Santana Paulo, born 1966 in São Paulo, is a poet, translator, essayist and author of the books Viver em outra língua (novel), Depois do Canto do Gurinhatã (poetry), Estrangeiro de Mim (short stories) and Passeio ao longo do Reno (poetry). Together with Floriano Martins, she edited Em silêncio and Abismanto. She participates in the Brazilian anthologies Roteiro de Poesia Brasileira – Poets of the 2000s (São Paulo) and Antología de poesía brasileña (Madrid). Her poetry has been published in magazines and newspapers, including Suplemento Literário de Minas Gerais, Inimigo-Rumor, Jornal Rascunho, Poesia Sempre; and in the magazines Argos and Alforja (Mexico). In 2012, she participated in the 8th International Poetry Festival in Granada, Nicaragua, and in 2016 in the 20th International Festival Poetry Nights in Curtea de Arges, Romania.
