TEXTDANCE: Myth, Spirit, and Body

2022-06-20, 7:30 PM

PERFORMANCESThree ensembles will present hybrid and experimental performances at the intersection of poetry, dance, and music.

Undine tanzt! explores the phenomenon of mythological water women via a text, media, and dance laboratory, offering a new version of the Undine myth. At Deep Inside, house and baroque poetry meet divine ecstasy. In times of (post)pandemic social malaise, Deep Inside searches for the collective body and soul. Schulter von α und anderen, fernen Ländern is based on Daniel Falb’s text die menschen von einst liebten den tanz.”

This event will be held partly in German and partly in English.
