Marte Huke, born in 1974, lives in Trondheim again, after years of commuting between her Norwegian hometown and Berlin. She made her debut in 2002 with the cycle of poems Delta, which was followed by four more volumes of poetry and most recently a novel (2015). She is known for her collaborations with artists from various fields, such as visual arts, drama, and music. Huke studied German and literature at the University of Bergen and subsequently attended writers’ schools in Bergen and Gothenburg. A German edition of Delta appeared in 2019 (Edition Rugerup). In 2022 Cycli, a selection of her poems in Dutch, will be published (Azul Press).
